Benefits of donating
Autism Western Cape empowers individuals with autism spectrum disorders (ASD), their families, communities and all impacted. We work towards inclusion through acceptance, advocacy, education, awareness and support.
Tax Benefits
All donations made to the Autism Western Cape are exempt from donations tax and qualify the donor for deductions
from taxable income in accordance with the income tax act 58 of 1962. If you give more than R100 per annum, you will receive a Section 18A tax certificate enabling you to claim a deduction from personal or corporate taxable income.
Tax certificates will be issued at the end of the financial year unless requested earlier. Donor deductibility applies to cash donations, bequests and donations in kind.
When you submit the receipt with your annual income tax return, you can get up to a maximum deduction of 10% of your annual taxable income or R100 000 (whichever is greater). To read more about PBO and Section 18A criteria, log on to the SARS website.
